JEMA Institute of Technology of Tanzania has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology from China to establish ties of cooperation in the areas of Education, Culture and Academia.
With this M.O.U in place, both parties will benefit through Students Exchange programs, Teachers training as well as Communication Exchange.
JEMA Institute of Technology is a part of JEMA Africa Group with a base in Mwanza Tanzania, offering Technical Education in the fields of Information and Communication Technology as well as Mineral Processing.
Speaking after the signing, JIT Principal Benezeth Kamihanda said: the collaboration will benefit the local students and tutors at JIT to add up knowledge and technical expertise from their fellows in China who are technologically advanced.
JIT and SVCST have also agreed to establish a Tanzania Information Technology Training Center, to actively carry out Skill Training, Promote Certificate Standards such as Automation and Information Technology subjects.
